Daily Bhagavad Gita Inspiration 📖✨| Day 9 💔M-Day Bhagvad Gita Quote | Chapter 1: Arjuna Vishada Yoga

Shloka 26

🌟 Sanskrit:
श्वशुरान्सुहृदश्चैव सेनयोरुभयोरपि |
तान्समीक्ष्य स कौन्तेयः सर्वान्बन्धूनवस्थितान् || 1.26 ||

🌟 Transliteration:
śvaśurān suhṛdaś caiva senayor ubhayor api |
tān samīkṣya sa kaunteyaḥ sarvān bandhūn avasthitān ||

🌟 Meaning:
He saw fathers-in-law and dear friends in both armies. Seeing all these relatives standing arrayed for battle, the son of Kunti (Arjuna)...

🌟 Explanation:
Arjuna's survey is complete. He has now seen not just his uncles and teachers, but his in-laws and closest friends spread across both armies. The realization sinks in that this is a war against his entire world. The term "all relatives" signifies the totality of his social fabric. 🫂

Shloka 27

🌟 Sanskrit:
कृपया परयाविष्टो विषीदन्निदमब्रवीत् |
अर्जुन उवाच |
दृष्ट्वेमं स्वजनं कृष्ण युयुत्सुं समुपस्थितम् || 1.27 ||

🌟 Transliteration:
kṛpayā parayāviṣṭo viṣīdann idam abravīt |
arjuna uvāca |
dṛṣṭvemaṁ sva-janaṁ kṛṣṇa yuyutsuṁ samupasthitam ||

🌟 Meaning:
...was overcome with deep compassion and, sorrowing, spoke these words. Arjuna said: O Krishna, seeing my own kinsmen gathered here, eager to fight...

🌟 Explanation:
This is the breaking point. The sight of his loved ones ready for war fills Arjuna not with anger, but with overwhelming pity and sorrow (kṛpayā and viṣīdan). He finally turns to Krishna, his voice heavy with grief, ready to pour out his heart. This is the official start of his "Vishada" or dejection. 🗣️😭

Shloka 28

🌟 Sanskrit:
सीदन्ति मम गात्राणि मुखं च परिशुष्यति |
वेपथुश्च शरीरे मे रोमहर्षश्च जायते || 1.28 ||

🌟 Transliteration:
sīdanti mama gātrāṇi mukhaṁ ca pariśuṣyati |
vepathuś ca śarīre me roma-harṣaś ca jāyate ||

🌟 Meaning:
...My limbs are failing, my mouth is drying up, my body is trembling, and my hair is standing on e .nd.

🌟 Explanation:
Arjuna describes the intense physical symptoms of his emotional breakdown. This isn't just sadness; it's a full-body reaction akin to a severe anxiety or panic attack. His limbs feel weak, his mouth is parched, and he shivers uncontrollably. This powerful description shows how deeply moral and emotional conflict can affect our physical well-being. 🌪️몸

Today’s Takeaway

Listen to Your Body. Our emotions are not just thoughts; they are physical experiences. When you feel overwhelmed, your body often sends clear signals—like a racing heart or trembling hands. Recognizing these signs is the first step to addressing the root cause of your distress. True strength lies in acknowledging our vulnerability, not ignoring it. 🧘‍♂️❤️

JAI SHRI KRISHNA💕💖💗🙏
