कुलक्षये प्रणश्यन्ति कुलधर्माः सनातनाः |
धर्मे नष्टे कुलं कृत्स्नमधर्मोऽभिभवत्युत ||

kula-kṣaye praṇaśyanti kula-dharmāḥ sanātanāḥ |
dharme naṣṭe kulaṁ kṛtsnam adharmo ’bhibhavaty uta ||

"With the destruction of the family, the timeless family traditions (kula-dharma) are lost. When tradition is lost, lawlessness (adharma) overtakes the entire family."

adharmābhibhavāt kṛṣṇa praduṣyanti kula-striyaḥ |
strīṣu duṣṭāsu vārṣṇeya jāyate varṇa-saṅkaraḥ ||
🌟 Meaning:
"When lawlessness prevails, O Krishna, the women of the family become corrupted. When women are corrupted, O descendant of Vrishni, it leads to the mixing of social orders (varna-sankara)."

Arjuna explains the domino effect. He believes that in a lawless society, women are not protected and their virtue is compromised. "This confusion of social order leads the family and its destroyers to hell. Their ancestors also fall, deprived of the ritual offerings of rice balls and water (pinda-udaka)."
