Daily Bhagavad Gita Inspiration 📖✨| Day 28 🌱M-Day Bhagvad Gita Quote | Chapter 2: Sankhya Yoga |

Shloka 40

🌟 Sanskrit:
नेहाभिक्रमनाशोऽस्ति प्रत्यवायो न विद्यते |
स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात् || 2.40 ||

🌟 Transliteration:
nehābhikrama-nāśo ’sti pratyavāyo na vidyate |
svalpam apy asya dharmasya trāyate mahato bhayāt ||

🌟 Meaning:
In this endeavor (of selfless action), there is no loss or diminution, and even a little advancement on this path can protect one from the most dangerous type of fear.

🌟 Explanation:
Krishna provides a powerful assurance for anyone starting a spiritual practice. Unlike material projects where an unfinished effort is a total loss, on the path of Karma Yoga, no effort is ever wasted. Every small step taken creates a permanent spiritual gain. Even a little practice of this dharma protects one from the "great fear" (mahato bhayāt)—the fear of being trapped in the endless cycle of birth and death.

Shloka 41

🌟 Sanskrit:
व्यवसायात्मिका बुद्धिरेकेह कुरुनन्दन |
बहुशाखा ह्यनन्ताश्च बुद्धयोऽव्यवसायिनाम् || 2.41 ||

🌟 Transliteration:
vyavasāyātmikā buddhir ekeha kuru-nandana |
bahu-śākhā hy anantāś ca buddhayo ’vyavasāyinām ||

🌟 Meaning:
Those who are on this path are resolute in purpose, and their aim is one. O beloved child of the Kurus, the intelligence of those who are irresolute is many-branched.

🌟 Explanation:
Krishna contrasts two mindsets. A person on the spiritual path has a resolute, single-pointed intelligence (vyavasāyātmikā buddhi) focused on one goal: self-realization. In contrast, a person who is indecisive and chases worldly desires has a scattered intelligence. Their mind is pulled in infinite directions by endless desires (bahu-śākhā), preventing them from achieving anything of lasting value.

Today’s Takeaway

Every step counts. Just be focused. Don't be afraid to start your spiritual journey, because no sincere effort ever goes to waste. The key is to have a single, determined purpose. In a world that pulls you in a million directions, find your one true north and focus your energy there. A scattered mind achieves little, but a focused mind can achieve the ultimate goal. 🎯✨

JAI SHRI KRISHNA👐💓💕💗💚💛💞💝💟💫🙌🙏
