Daily Bhagavad Gita Inspiration 📖✨| Day 81 🔥M‑Day Bhagvad Gita Quote | Chapter 4: Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga |

Shloka 26

🌟 Sanskrit :
श्रोत्रादीनीन्द्रियाण्यन्ये संयमाग्निषु जुह्वति |
शब्दादीन्विषयानन्य इन्द्रियाग्निषु जुह्वति || 4.26 ||

🌟 Transliteration:

śrotrādīnīndriyāṇy anye saṁyamāgniṣu juhvati |
śabdādīn viṣayān anye indriyāgniṣu juhvati ||

🌟 Meaning:
Some offer the senses—such as hearing and others—into the fires of self‑restraint; others offer the objects of the senses—such as sound and form—into the fires of the senses themselves.

Explanation:

Krishna moves from outward ritual to the inner yajñas of self‑discipline and perception.

  • First group: Those who “offer the senses into the fire of control” (saṁyamāgniṣu juhvati). Through restraint and meditation, they sacrifice indulgence, taming the senses under the direction of wisdom.

  • Second group: Those who “offer the sense‑objects into the fire of the senses” (indriyāgniṣu juhvati). They confront desires directly, allowing perception but transforming it with awareness—seeing, hearing, tasting as acts of inner offering, not craving.

These are psychological sacrifices: rather than burning clarified butter, the seeker burns restlessness, distraction, and attachment in the fire of mindfulness. Both ways purify the inner world and lead to freedom.

Today’s Takeaway

The altar is within. Every moment of attention, every drop of self‑control, every time you meet a desire with awareness instead of habit—you are performing an inner yajña.

Turn the ordinary functions of seeing, hearing, and thinking into conscious offerings. This quiet practice sanctifies daily life far more powerfully than outer ritual alone.

JAI SHRI KRISHNA👐👏💖💚💛💫💞🙌🙇🙏
