Shloka 2
Sanskrit:
सर्वेऽप्येते यज्ञविदो यज्ञक्षपितकल्मषाः |
यज्ञशिष्टामृतभुजो यान्ति ब्रह्म सनातनम् ॥ ४.३० ॥
Transliteration:
Sarve ’py ete yajña-vido yajña-kṣhapita-kalmaṣhāḥ,
Yajña-śhiṣṭāmṛita-bhujo yānti brahma sanātanam.
Meaning:
All these performers who truly know the meaning of sacrifice become cleansed of sinful reactions. Having tasted the nectar of the remnants of such sacrifice, they advance toward the eternal Brahman.
Explanation:
The grand conclusion: Every form of true yajna (from charity to pranayama to selfless action) destroys sins and leaves "amrita" (nectar-like bliss). Those who live this way reach the supreme, eternal reality—pure liberation!

Shloka 3
Sanskrit:
नायं लोकोऽस्त्ययज्ञस्य कुतोऽन्यः कुरुसत्तम ॥ ४.३१ ॥
Transliteration:
Nāyaṁ loko ’sty ayajñasya kuto ’nyaḥ kuru-sattama.
Meaning:
O best of the Kurus, there is no happiness in this world (or the next) for one who does not perform sacrifice.
Explanation:
Krishna warns gently: Without the spirit of offering/sacrifice in life, true joy is impossible—here or hereafter. Make every action a yajna to God, and unlock real peace and progress!

Today’s TakeawayTurn life into yajna—offer actions, breath, food, and self to the Divine. True sacrifice cleanses karma, gives nectar-like bliss, and leads straight to eternal Brahman. No offering? No lasting happiness. Live sacrificially, rise spiritually!
