Sanskrit:
लभन्ते ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृषयः क्षीणकल्मषाः |
छिन्नद्वैधा यतात्मानः सर्वभूतहिते रताः ॥ ५.२५ ॥
Transliteration:
Labhante brahma-nirvāṇam ṛiṣhayaḥ kṣhīṇa-kalmaṣhāḥ,
Chhinna-dvaidhā yatātmānaḥ sarva-bhūta-hite ratāḥ.
Meaning:
The sages who have destroyed all sins, whose doubts have been cut asunder, who have mastered the self, and who are devoted to the welfare of all beings attain Brahman-nirvana (supreme peace in the Absolute).
Explanation:
True sages—free from impurities, doubts cleared, self fully controlled—don’t just seek personal peace. They rejoice in the welfare of every being! Their compassionate heart opens the door to complete liberation and eternal peace. Kindness accelerates moksha!

कामक्रोधवियुक्तानां यतीनां यतचेतसाम् |
अभितो ब्रह्मनिर्वाणं वर्तते विदितात्मनाम् ॥ ५.२६ ॥
Transliteration:
Kāma-krodha-viyuktānāṁ yatīnāṁ yata-chetasām,
Abhito brahma-nirvāṇaṁ vartate viditātmanām.
Meaning:
For the renunciates who are free from desire and anger, who have controlled their mind, and who have realized the Self—Brahman-nirvana exists all around them (here and now).
Explanation:
Drop lust and anger, steady the mind, know your true Self—and suddenly, supreme peace is not far away; it surrounds you everywhere! Liberation isn’t somewhere in the future—it becomes your living reality. Peace is your constant companion!

स्पर्शान्कृत्वा बहिर्बाह्यांश्चक्षुश्चैवान्तरे भ्रुवोः |
प्राणापानौ समौ कृत्वा नासाभ्यन्तरचारिणौ ॥ ५.२७ ॥

Sparśhān kṛitvā bahir bāhyānśh chakṣhuśh chaivāntare bhruvoḥ,
Prāṇāpānau samau kṛitvā nāsābhyantara-chāriṇau.

Shutting out all external sense objects, fixing the gaze between the eyebrows, and balancing the incoming and outgoing breaths (prana and apana) moving within the nostrils...
