Shloka 10

ЁЯМЯ Sanskrit:
рдЕрдкрд░्рдпाрдк्рддं рддрджрд╕्рдоाрдХं рдмрд▓ं рднीрд╖्рдоाрднिрд░рдХ्рд╖िрддрдо्।
рдкрд░्рдпाрдк्рддं рдд्рд╡िрджрдоेрддेрд╖ां рдмрд▓ं рднीрдоाрднिрд░рдХ्рд╖िрддрдо्॥ 1.10 ॥

ЁЯМЯ Transliteration:
Apyaptam tadasmakam balam bhishma-abhirakshitam,
Paryaptam tvidametesham balam bhima-abhirakshitam.

ЁЯМЯ Meaning:
Our army, protected by Bhishma, is unlimited in strength; but their army, protected by Bhima, is limited.

ЁЯМЯ Explanation:
Duryodhana compares the size and strength of his forces (the Kauravas) to those of the Pandavas. He points out that while his army is too vast to measure, the Pandavas’ army is smaller but still formidable. He uses this to reassure his generals and express confidence in victory.


Shloka 11

рднीрд╖्рдордоेрд╡ाрднिрд░рдХ्рд╖рди्рддु рднрд╡рди्рддः рд╕рд░्рд╡ рдПрд╡ рд╣ि॥ 1.11 ॥

ЁЯМЯ Transliteration:
Ayanesu cha sarveshu yatha-bhagam aavasthitah,
Bhishmam evam abhirakshantu bhavantah sarva eva hi.

ЁЯМЯ Meaning:
All of you must give full support to Grandsire Bhishma, standing firm at your respective posts.

ЁЯМЯ Explanation:
Duryodhana suggests that all his commanders should position themselves and their troops according to Bhishma’s plan, giving full support to him as the supreme leader. This highlights the need for unity and proper command structure in any organization.


Shloka 12

ЁЯМЯ Sanskrit:
рддрд╕्рдп рд╕рдЮ्рдЬрдирдпрди्рд╣рд░्рд╖ं рдХुрд░ुрд╡ृрдж्рдзः рдкिрддाрдорд╣ः।
рд╕िंрд╣рдиाрджं рд╡िрдзिрдиोрдЪ्рдЪैः рд╢рдЩ्рдЦрджрд░्рд╢рдд्рдк्рд░рддाрдкрд╡ाрди्॥ 1.12 ॥

ЁЯМЯ Transliteration:
Tasya sanjanayan harshang kuruvriddha pitamaha,
Simhanadam vidadhe ucchair shankham dadhmau prataapavaan.

ЁЯМЯ Meaning:
To cheer him up, grand old Bhishma, renowned for his valor, blew a thunderous blast with his conch shell.

ЁЯМЯ Explanation:
Now, Bhishma, the oldest and most respected warrior on the Kaurava side, responds by blowing his conch shell, signaling the start of the battle and boosting the morale of the troops. This illustrates the act of encouragement and the call to battle.
