ЁЯМЯ Sanskrit:
рдЕрд╕्рдоाрдХं рддु рд╡िрд╢िрд╖्рдЯा рдпे рддाрди्рдиिрдмोрдз рдж्рд╡िрдЬोрдд्рддрдо।
рдиाрдпрдХा рдордо рд╕ैрди्рдпрд╕्рдп рд╕ंрдЬ्рдЮाрд░्рдеं рддाрди्рдм्рд░рд╡ीрдоि рддे॥ 1.7 ॥

ЁЯМЯ Transliteration:
Asmakam tu vishishta ye tan nibodha dvijottama,
Nayaka mama sainyasya sanjnartham tan bravimi te.

ЁЯМЯ Meaning:

O best of Brahmins, listen as I tell you the names of the distinguished commanders of my army.

ЁЯМЯ Explanation:

Duryodhana now turns to his own army and, addressing Drona, begins to introduce the main leaders of the Kaurava side.

ЁЯМЯ Transliteration:
Bhavan bhishmashcha karnashcha kripashcha samitinjayah,
Ashvatthama vikarnashcha saumadattis tathaiva cha.

ЁЯМЯ Meaning:
They are yourself, Bhishma, Karna, Kripa, the victorious in battle; Ashvatthama, Vikarna, and the son of Somadatta.

ЁЯМЯ Explanation:
Duryodhana lists the great warriors on his own side, demonstrating respect for their valor and anticipating that the mention of such commanders will boost the morale of his troops.

ЁЯМЯ Transliteration:
Anye cha bahavah shura madarthe tyaktajivitah,
Nanashastra-praharanah sarve yuddhavisharadah.

ЁЯМЯ Meaning:
There are many other heroes as well, prepared to lay down their lives for my sake, all bearing various weapons and all skilled in warfare.

ЁЯМЯ Explanation:
Duryodhana acknowledges the loyalty and expertise of many other unnamed warriors in his army, emphasizing their readiness for battle and dedication.

Shloka 4

Sanskrit:
рдЕрдд्рд░ рд╢ूрд░ा рдорд╣ेрд╖्рд╡ाрд╕ा рднीрдоाрд░्рдЬुрдирд╕рдоा рдпुрдзि।
рдпुрдпुрдзाрдиो рд╡िрд░ाрдЯрд╢्рдЪ рдж्рд░ुрдкрджрд╢्рдЪ рдорд╣ाрд░рдеः॥ 1.4 ॥

Transliteration:
Atra shura mahesvasa bhimarjunasama yudhi,
Yuyudhano viratashcha drupadashcha maharathah.

Meaning:

Here in this army, there are heroes and mighty bowmen equal in the battle to Bhima and Arjuna: Yuyudhana, Virata, and Drupada, the great chariot-warrior.

Explanation:

There are also mighty men like Dhrishtaketu, Chekitana, the valiant king of Kashi, Purujit, Kuntibhoja, and Shaibya, the best among men.
